Terms of sale and participation in activities – release of liability

• A booking is confirmed once the booking code has been received, after online payment or after confirmation of payment to be made at the desk.
• The cable gives access to one person at a time. The times shown at booking are therefore indicative and may shift. The current time of your booking is always shown on your booking page.
• You are asked to arrive at the site roughly ten minutes before the scheduled time.

• Cancelling at least 24 hours in advance is free of charge. The amount paid is credited back as credit, usable for the activities available during the season.
• For cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, the request is assessed case by case, with the aim of finding an alternative where possible.
• For summer camps, the deposit is refunded if the cancellation is communicated at least seven days in advance.

Activities normally run in the rain as well. They are suspended in the event of a thunderstorm, or whenever weather conditions do not allow the activity to be carried out safely.

• If the activity is suspended, the session or ride that did not take place is not considered lost.
• For holders of ride packages or season passes, the missed session is automatically credited back to the relevant account, with no request needed.
• Where the booking was paid by card, the amount for the suspended session can be refunded or, by agreement, kept as credit for a future booking.

• Wearing a helmet and life vest is compulsory. The safety equipment is provided by the association.
• Taking part requires being in a state of health compatible with a water sport activity.
• Any significant medical conditions or physical issues — including, by way of example, cardiac or joint conditions, epilepsy or anything else that may affect safety during the activity — must be reported to the instructor before entering the water.
• Accessing the site and taking part under the influence of alcohol or of substances that may impair physical or mental capacity, alertness or one's own or others' safety is prohibited.
• The instructor's directions must be followed throughout the session. The instructor sets the speed of the cable and may change, suspend or stop the activity whenever this is considered necessary for safety reasons.
• The activity takes place in deep water. Competitive swimming ability is not required, but sufficient familiarity with the water and the ability to stay in it safely are.

• Participation by people under 18 is allowed only with the consent of a parent or of whoever legally exercises responsibility for them.
• By making the booking and accepting these terms, the parent or responsible person declares that they have read and understood them and that they assume, as far as it concerns them, the responsibilities set out in these terms in relation to the minor's participation.
• The minimum age for wakeboarding is 6 years, unless the instructor assesses otherwise in light of the participant and the conditions of the activity.

• Wakeboarding is a sport which, by its nature, involves risks connected among other things with falls, loss of balance, impacts, contact with the water or the equipment, and possible injury.
• The participant declares that they are aware of the risks inherent in the discipline and that they take part voluntarily, within their own ability and physical condition and in line with the instructions received from the instructors.
• The participant undertakes to comply with the rules of the site, the safety provisions and all directions given by the instructors and the staff of the association.
• By taking part, the participant acknowledges that the risks inherent in wakeboarding are not attributable to the association, its legal representative, the instructors, collaborators or others acting on behalf of the association, where the activity is carried out in compliance with safety procedures and applicable provisions. For such risks the participant therefore declares that they have no claim against those parties, save for cases of liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.
• The participant is responsible for their own conduct during the activity and must behave prudently and diligently, avoiding conduct that could endanger their own safety or that of others.
• The association, its legal representative, the instructors and collaborators cannot be held liable for damage or injury arising from risks inherent in the activity, or from conduct by the participant contrary to the instructions received, to the rules of the site or to safety provisions, except as otherwise provided by applicable law.
• Where the participant is a minor, the statements in this section are made by the parent or by whoever legally exercises responsibility for them, who declares that they have assessed the minor's suitability to take part, that they have informed the minor — in a way suited to their age and understanding — of the rules and risks of the activity, and that they assume, on the minor's behalf, the commitments and responsibilities arising from these terms.
• These statements do not involve any waiver of rights granted by law and do not exclude the liability of the association, its legal representative, the instructors and collaborators in cases where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

• The participant is responsible for looking after their own personal effects, equipment and valuables brought onto the site.
• The association is not liable for theft, loss or damage to personal property, except where liability lies with the association under applicable law.

The membership fee includes accident insurance cover for the member, according to the terms and conditions of the policy in force. The insurance cover neither excludes nor replaces the obligations and liabilities set out by applicable law.

• Payment can be made by card when booking online, or at the desk on arrival, according to the methods available.
• Card payments are handled through Stripe. Full card details are not passed to the association and are not stored by it.
• The payment receipt is issued by the association and sent to the e-mail address given when booking.
• The receipt is not an invoice. If an invoice is required, it must be requested before payment.

• Under the rules on distance contracts, consumers generally have 14 days to exercise the right of withdrawal.
• That right does not apply, however, to leisure services where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. This includes, by way of example, single wakeboard sessions, hours of use of the cable and hire booked for a given date, under art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code.
• The cancellation terms and refund arrangements set out in these terms remain applicable in any case.
• For session packages and season passes, any cancellation or refund requests are assessed on the basis of the specific type of purchase and of applicable law.

• For any request, report or complaint you can contact the association at lakeline0.0@gmail.com.
• The association undertakes to examine reports and to seek, where possible, a shared solution.
• Where no agreement can be reached, recourse to alternative dispute resolution tools and to the competent mediation bodies remains available.
• For disputes with consumers, the competent court is the one provided by applicable law, including, where applicable, that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile.

The terms of sale published on the site and in force on the date the booking is made apply. Later changes to these terms do not apply retroactively to bookings already made, which remain governed by the terms accepted at the time of booking, except as otherwise provided by applicable law.

• The prices that apply are those published on the prices page and are final.
• For activities open to everyone, the prices shown include VAT where applicable.
• Activities reserved for members fall within the institutional activity of the association and are governed by the rules applicable to associations.
