Never tried it
You'll be up
on your first go
That's not a brochure promise: it's what happens to almost everyone who comes here. Ten minutes, an instructor adjusting the cable to you, and your first glides across the water.
How it actually goes
Your first ten minutes,
minute by minute
You arrive and change
We give you the board, helmet and vest. If the water's cool, a wetsuit too. You bring swimwear and a towel. Parking is free and the beach is twenty metres from the dock.
Five minutes on land
The instructor shows you how to hold the handle and what to do when the cable pulls. There's one rule: arms straight, don't pull.
You get in the water
You sit in the water with the board in front of you, knees bent. The cable takes up slowly. You do nothing: you let it lift you. When the board starts gliding, you stand up on your own.
The first fall
It comes, and that's fine. You let go, you float, and the instructor brings you back to the start. Ten minutes is enough for several attempts.
The first glide
Sooner or later you're standing, moving, with the lake running underneath. From there the ten minutes vanish — which is exactly why most people buy another straight away.
What you're thinking
What people tell us
before they try
We've heard them all. Here's how it really is.
I'm not a strong swimmer.
All three float: the vest, the board strapped to your feet, and the helmet. You stay up without doing anything. You don't need to swim well — you need to be comfortable in water. The instructor is on the dock and always has eyes on you.
I've never snowboarded or surfed.
Doesn't matter. Wakeboarding is easier than both, because the cable holds you: you don't have to find your own balance, you just let it pull.
I'm not fit.
Ten minutes is ten minutes. It's mostly legs and back, and far less arms than you'd think — the classic first-day mistake is pulling with your arms.
I'm scared of getting hurt.
You fall in water, not on the ground. Helmet and vest are compulsory and included. The water is deep, with no rocks under the line.
I'm coming alone and I'll feel out of place.
Half the people here on their first day come alone. You wait your turn on the dock with everyone else, and within two rides you're talking to all of them.
What's included
Try-out package
25 €
No membership needed

- Insurance included
- Lesson on the dock with a certified instructor
- One 10-minute session with an instructor on the dock
If you want more afterwards, each extra ride on the same day is €12. And if you'd like someone in the water beside you — useful for children and the very nervous — that's €5 more.
Children
From six years old
For the youngest, a certified instructor can go into the water with them and help them start. Whoever comes along stays on the beach or at the Lake Bar, sees the whole line from the shore, and pays nothing.
